Resources for at-risk young people and their families

Kids Central is the name of an information centre designed to assist those in the youth sector dealing with young people who have experienced homelessness.

Developed by the Institute of Child Protection Studies at the Australian Catholic University (ACU) in partnership with the ACT Department of Disability, Housing and Community Services.

Kids Central aims to 'help services place children in the centre of their work' with a strong emphasis on the individuality of each child and their need to feel safe in all environments as well as the importance of them having input into decision-making

Kids Central created a series of resources which cover young people up to the age of around 14, so will be of interest to those in the youth sector.
